Start with the view you need
A free survey looks at entrances, boundaries, blind spots, delivery routes, light levels and the practical places to mount cameras. We distinguish a general overview from a view that needs to show useful detail at a particular doorway or counter. This helps determine camera and lens choices before quantities are agreed.
Cameras, cabling and recording
The installation plan covers the cameras, NVR, storage, power and network connections. We discuss cable routes, access equipment and where the recorder will be secured. Existing cabling or cameras can be assessed for reuse, subject to condition and compatibility. We do not assume a working live picture means the system is recording correctly.
Commissioning and handover
After installation we check camera views, timestamps, recording, playback and authorised remote viewing. You should know how to find an incident, export a clip and recognise a missing camera. We discuss recording settings and access permissions with the person responsible for the system.
